Ketamine & Cannabis Assisted Therapy

Integrating Mind, Body, Spirit, and Medicine for Profound Healing

At Focal Points Therapy, I offer a compassionate, science-backed approach to healing through psychedelic-assisted therapy, utilizing fast-acting oral ketamine and vaped or edible cannabis in a 2-hour session.

Whether you’re navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, chronic pain, or hearing the call of deeper connection to Self and Spirit, these therapies provide a unique path toward relief, personal and spiritual growth, and lasting well-being.

Why Choose Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)?

  • Relief from Depression – KAP can create substantial shifts, especially when other treatments haven’t provided the relief you need. Gently easing physical and emotional pain during a mildly psychedelic journey with anesthetic properties, ketamine can be relaxing and feel good while revealing root causes of chronic suffering in multiple levels of your system.

  • Rewiring the Mind for Healing – Ketamine leads to neuroplasticity in the brain, or growth of synaptic connections, unlocking powerful insights and embodied breakthroughs that unify mind, body, and emotion. Psychedelics including ketamine see through habitual ways of being. They point to the new behavior and decisions you need to be happy and effective in the ways that matter to you. You will make use of the messages in your journey in integration sessions between your medicine sessions through meaning making and goal setting.

  • A Light in the Dark – Research shows that KAP can reduce suicidal thoughts, offering hope when it’s needed most. When we doubt our own worth, ketamine can feel like a kind, gentle light shining on our personal significance, pointing to what’s in the way of feeling it.

  • Enhancing Focus – KAP may help improve attention, reduce impulsivity, and support emotional and sensory regulation. This can benefit individuals with ADHD/ADD, perimenopausal brain fog, and other neurotypes that make focusing challenging. Ketamine can help clear internal obstacles to making a greater contribution to your family and community.

  • Finding Peace in Illness and End-of-Life – KAP can provide perspective on pain and chronic conditions, reduce existential distress, and help clarify values and sources of beauty and acceptance at the end of life.

Why Choose Cannabis-Assisted Psychotherapy (CAP)?

  • Processing Trauma in a Brave Space – CAP supports layered emotional healing, making it particularly effective for PTSD and past wounds held in the body.

  • Easing Anxiety & Depression Naturally – In a guided setting, cannabis can help regulate mood, ease stress, and provide insight into mental, emotional, and physical patterns that promote suffering.

  • Holistic Pain Relief – CAP offers an alternative approach to managing chronic pain without over-reliance on traditional pharmaceuticals.

  • Managing ADHD Symptoms – CAP may enhance focus and reduce hyperactivity, offering a natural path to symptom relief.

  • Transcending Barriers to the New – Unlike ketamine, cannabis is not a dissociative or anesthetic. It creates opportunities for practicing new behaviors with lowered inhibitions, under the guidance of a safe, compassionate therapist.

Note: Cannabis in therapy is often experienced very differently than in recreational or home settings. Guided cannabis sessions foster increased awareness and uncover patterns of pain avoidance in the body—beneath which often lie trauma wounds and a powerful sense of Self waiting to be empowered.

A Therapy Experience Tailored to You

Healing is personal and expressive. That’s why I integrate:

  • Art

  • Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping)

  • Meditation

  • Visualization

  • Sandplay therapy

These offer alternative ways to prepare for, experience, and integrate medicine sessions—especially when words alone fall short. Clarity is found in perspective, and K&C Assisted Therapy helps connect your expanded-state experiences to everyday life, so you can make the shifts you need.
